Concept Map:
Questions:
1.A bee and ant are belong to Insect Group. (True or False) [Must Do]
2.Name two types of Plant? [should do]
3.Define what is vertebrates and give 5 examples of vertebrates.( Colud Do)
Virtual Experiment – Group Work
1. The virtual experiment from http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks2bitesize/science/materials/solids_liquids/play.shtml is about solid and liquid, when Heat melts a solid and turns it into a liquid. Cooling freezes a liquid into a solid.
2. To change solid to liquid, we need to heat the material at certain temperatures, some high some low. These are called their melting points. And we can freeze the material back to solid at certain temperature and it can create the different shape. For example, chocolate will melt at 35°C. And it will be freeze or become solid at 22°C.
3. The students will learn that:-
-heat can change solids into liquids or gases.
-Most solids melt into liquid when they are heated.
-A liquid evaporates into a gas when it is heated.
-Cooling changes a gas into a liquid, and a liquid into a solid.
-A liquid freezes into a solid when it is cooled.

Geometry Sketchpad
ICT in Maths & Science for Primary School
Geometry Sketchpad 5
- it is a dynamic geometry construction and exploration tool
- Simple & automatic drawing program
- Create for geometry, which is the sketchpad can be used to explore algebra, trigonometry, calculus, art, science and more.
- It has several features such as simple commands for user to create, edit and manipulate accurate geometrical constructions on the computer screen.
- And it also allows to measure lengths of segments, measures of angles, area, perimeter and etc.
Benefits of Geometry Sketchpad
- Easy to draw multiple constructions in very little time
- More accurate geometric shapes than drawing examples out by hand!
- Color and labeling add clarity to work and concepts!
- Measurements are easily calculated for you if needed!
- Animation allows for students to see geometry in motion!
- Easy to fix the mistakes (just undo)
- Technology allows the students to become more interactive in their lessons!
- Technology skills will enhance the student’s motivation and willingness to explore new concepts!
- Work can be saved, printed, and/or edited later as newer concepts emerge!
System Requirements
Sketchpad 5 is a downloadable application that can be installed over a network.
Windows®
- Pentium® based system or equivalent
- Windows XP or later (including Vista and Windows 7)
- 300 MB free disk space
Macintosh®
- PowerPC® or Intel® based system
- Mac OS® 10.4 or later
- 300 MB free disk space
Other
There is no Linux- or Unix-based version of Sketchpad available at the current time. However, Java Sketches created using Sketchpad for Macintosh or Sketchpad for Windows and JavaSketchpad can be used on any platform with a Java-capable Internet browser, including Linux and most Unix variants.
